The Passover Blood Drive in El Paso, TX

The Passover Blood Drive in El Paso, TX

March 23, 2025

On March 23, 2025, volunteers from the World Mission Society Church of God in El Paso gathered at the El Paso Zion Church to host the 1583rd Worldwide Blood Drive to Give Life Through the Love of the Passover. Partnering with the El Paso Fire Department, the event began at 10:30 a.m. and quickly filled with participants eager to share life through donation. In just a few hours, 120 blood donations were collected — a record-breaking number for the city. The vibrant turnout reflected the community’s unity and compassion, as volunteers worked together to help patients in need and spread awareness of the value of giving blood.

The blood drive was held in honor of the New Covenant Passover established by Jesus Christ, who shed His blood to give life to humanity. Through this event, members sought to follow His example of sacrifice and love by saving lives with their own blood. The Church of God continues to host blood drives around the world to help meet the urgent need for donations and to share the message of spiritual and physical life that the Passover represents. The El Paso Blood Drive stands as a reminder that faith in action can heal communities and inspire hope.
